Hello Boys!!!
Welcome to Sydney, Australia. Unfortunately, one of you will have to go home this week.
This week you need to submit a photo of your celebrity represents the clique in the high school. Let's start the judging
Alex 'Weirdo aka The Goth'
Jared: I like this a lot. But there's things I don't like as well. I don't like the lighting glare hitting you because it pushes my eyes more on her. The other is, she looks like she's in a wedding dress. Not very high schooly to me unless you're doing a play. Descriptions can help you sell stuff, try to remember that. I like the makeup, I like the setting. I'm not bothered that it's from a former shoot either because everything's different. You're very cute Alex, I think I'll go look you up lol
Natalia: I do see the goth here. Your face expression represents the clique so well. I think the fashion in this photo is strong. Overall, I like it. But I do get what Jared said because my eyes also went straight to the female model.
Gwen: This picture's fine. The girl seems to fit the theme a bit more than you do, but the theme incorporation is present here. The facial expression is a nice touch. Had I not already known what the rest of the background already looks like due to a previous picture, I would not have really cared for it in this picture, but I am able to still visualize the rest, anyway. The deathgrip on her arm is a nice touch, too.
Andrew 'School Reporter/Photographer'
Jared: This is pretty good. I like your connection with the camera (us not the one you're holding lol) Your hair is so Dylan McKay lol Which means i get the highschool vibe lol Good job.
Natalia: Great job!! I think you nailed it. I love because the photo isn't just represent your clique but it has the whole high school vibe in it. And I also love your styling and the overall concept of this photo. Fantastic job!!!
Gwen: So, this is a picture of you taking a picture of you with yours hands over your ears. It works. It has good theme incorporation and I like your expression. There might not be much to this photo in terms of set or wardrobe, but there's plenty in terms story. Good shot this week.
Bradley 'School Reporter'
Jared: Except for the paper, I'm not really getting the vibe of reporter. I mean, I do, but, everything about this says teacher more than student. Actually not even teacher but business man, but adult nontheless. I know you guys are adults but maybe a bit more fun with this might have worked. It's not horrible though. I do love your eyes.
Natalia: Yeah I think the main problem is your styling. It made you look like a professional reporter/photographer instead of the one in High School. I do like your sense of style here. The combination is great but as for the theme execution, I don't think it's good enough
Gwen: I have to agree with the other judges that your styling makes you look more professional than like someone in a high school "clique". To be fair, though, you do have a more mature, manly look to you than the majority of the other models, so it's hard for you to not read as looking older. To me, you look like a father in this picture who's about to lecture his son for having done something wrong. I do get a story from this picture, which is nice. Unfortunately, what I read from this photo doesn't line up with the theme as much as I would like it to.
Justin 'Power Couple'
Jared: This is cute. I don't get power couple vibe just because you look like casual students and not the "IT" group. I love the connection with you and Lindsay (shame about the divorce) and that you're looking at the camera because it gives me a yearbook vibe. Good job.
Natalia: I like this photo but I didn't love it, mainly because of the quality. But I think the chemistry is strong. Both of you look like a couple of high school students in love. Very cute and adorable.
Gwen: I can see potential power couple in this photo, but it doesn't scream "power couple" to me. The theme isn't really my problem with this photo, anyway. My problem with this photo is that I don't see much modeling value in it. It looks way too candid for my tastes. Also, the smiling is a little over-the-top, almost to the point of being a bit fake. Your smile is definitely the better of the two in the photo, though.
Matt 'Teacher's Pet'
Jared: When I first came to the page I only saw your head and thought "oh no" thinking you were just dressing up, but then I saw the apple and was just "YAY" This is really good. I love the apple and the smile. Giving the teacher an apple goes way back even before my time (me Angi, not Jared lol) This is just perfect. Well, the suit is over the top for a student but I barely see it past the apple and your face
Natalia: I love the smile, the apple and I love the whole concept of this photo. But I don't really like your styling. It's too professional for high school students. Other than that, this is another solid photo from you
Gwen: I can totally see the connection to the theme this round and it's another great shot of you. I would agree with Natalia that the styling is a little professional, but you're the "teacher's pet" so dressing up like that could actually fit in.
Nicholas 'Class Flirt'
Jared: I really like this photo, on a whole. But I have to give you my critique for the theme. And I don't see it. I see high school kids for sure, but she looks more like the class flirt than you do. Everything about her is flirty and you look very enthralled with her. Other than just not hitting the theme 100%, I like this photo a lot.
Natalia: Yeah I also think she's more flirty than you and kinda steal the spotlight here. But I love your styling. It's so high school and young. I think this photo is more suitable for 'Power Couple'. Overall, I still like this photo
Gwen: The female model is definitely stealing your spotlight in this shot and the angle and look of your face makes you almost a bit of the "Class Creep" rather than "Class Flirt". However, I do like the overall quality of the photo and it tells a story nicely. Just in the future, when you use a couples shot, just make sure the other model doesn't outshine you.
Taecyeon 'Class Flirt'
Jared: So, this is kind of the opposite of Nicholas'. She looks enthralled with you and you're looking at the camera with a vibe that's kind of flirting with the camera person (maybe me??? lol) My only issue with this is that it's pretty lifeless. But she doesn't come near to outshining you which is awesome.
Natalia: I don't think the female model falls under your charm cause she look so uninterested towards you. And dead. But I do love the eyes connection. I think that's so flirty. Overall, I think this is a decent photo.
Gwen: Ok, I just called Nicholas a creep in his photo, but at least he didn't slip his date any roofies. That said, I do get the flirtatious vibe coming from you when I ignore the unconscious girl in your arms. Her bad modeling (for this particular theme) is a bit distracting, but your personal body language and expression is actually really good.
